Rachel is passionate about design and holds a Bachelor of Design UNSW (2005) where she majored in Graphics, Textiles and Environments. She then went on to study a Master of Cross-disciplinary Art & Design UNSW (2012) in one of their first 100% online deliveries. On her transition to the VET sector, Rachel attained the TAE40110 Certificate IV Training & Assessment (2014) with required upgrade units along the way.
Rachel worked as a professional Graphic Designer for 15 years with large brands and a focus on packaging, marketing and print. In 2013, Rachel was appointed Academic Director VET at Virtu Design Institute where she managed and grew their online design programs before coming to APC Education Group in 2019. She has worked on the development and maintenance of CMS and LMS systems and is highly experienced in the areas of both online and face to face study.
Her focus in the current climate is to connect students to industry for networking and employment outcomes through work placements. She hopes to bring industry into APC's campuses and develop students' skills to give them the best professional start in their careers.
